The only caveat is beware the high-pressure upsale. If you know that going in, and if you know how to say, \u0022NO,\u0022 you\u0027ll be fine. <br><br>Example: I purchased a Canon G1 X. While awaiting delivery, I downloaded the owners manual from the Canon website so as to familiarize myself with the camera, its functions, and what I needed to support the purchase. Canon recommended a Class 6 memory card for the HD video function, which I then purchased for around $15 or so (8GB) while the camera was en route. I received a call from 42nd trying to get sell me an 8GB super-duper, hyper-fast card that they claimed I simpy HAD to have for the video function. When I told the caller I already had an 8GB Class 6, he kept trying to tell me that the \u0022Class\u0022 didn\u0027t mean anything, and that I really needed their card, which he was going to give me for a \u0022discounted\u0022 $100+.<br><br>I finally just told the caller that I was going to use the camera strictly for photography (which I am), and that I really neither needed nor wanted his phenomenally fast (and vastly overpriced) memory card.<br><br>Other than that, my experience with 42nd Street was great. "I purchased $5,000 of film equipment from thee guys last month. I have been very happy with the equipment, but was not happy with the high-pressure upsell I was given by the salesman, Jack. He told me that I would be able to return any of the products I was sold, but as it turned out, this was not possible. I wrote them an email, and they took care of me.
If I do shop with them again, I will be sure to be careful not to get baited into any upsell schemes. Other than that, 42photo is a very good merchant."
