"The next best thing to your neighborhood bike shop. If I need quality parts for a seriously good price I always go to AEBikes. They even have track/fixed gear parts that are way cheaper than anywhere else I've seen. Keep it up guys, you're doing great things (for my wallet!)"

"The item was in good shape and cheaper than anywhere else, and they had free shipping, but expect to wait a week for them to ship your package out. I placed my order at about 2:20PM on thursday, and my small package didn't ship out until Tuesday of the next week. It amazingly got there by Thursday, so overall it wasn't bad; however, I almost pulled all my hair out over the weekend thinking some little company had taken my money and run. In the future they should make it known when they're going to ship out an item."

“We thank you for the order Seth. The reason why our prices are some competitive is that we don't keep products in our shop and get them in from a supplier on an on-demand basis. This takes a couple of business days, which we try to be as transparent about as possible.

"I love the products and the selection. When you can't find it anywhere else, aebike almost always has it. A great resource for any bike lover. The one negative is turn-around time. Figure at least 10 days from time of order to time of delivery."

“Our staff was happy to waive the restocking fee in this situation, and we were merely trying to establish that this saddle was in a condition that would allow it to be re-sold to another customer. No one wants to buy someone else's sweaty bike seat! :)

This is typical of any bike shop when you need to return a saddle that is uncomfortable.”

"This place had the best price for a Timbuk2 camera bag that I had been looking at for a few days and I ordered it with no problems. Shipping was free and I received the camera bag only a few days after I ordered it. Will definitely use this website again and would recommend to others!"

"Nice site, great selection, good prices, friendly email response but shipping costs to Canada is nuts! I ordered two Shimano chains and four cones totaling $100 US and they wanted $46 US USPS to ship to Canada. What? I've ordered from many US bike stores over the years and shipping to Canada using USPS was never over $28 US, not even on much larger orders. Seeing I had just ordered bike parts from the UK and paid $7 CAD Royal Mail for a similar sized order I told them and they agreed to lower shipping costs to $20. So they wanted $26 for handling??? Anyways I got the items I ordered. I will consider ordering from them again depending on shipping costs."

“Thanks for your order Andrew. Our current shopping cart has no concept of weight or size so it tends to over-estimate shipping cost, especially on small items. We are moving to a new cart in the next couple of months that will be able to more accurately calculate shipping for international customers.”

"I returned the product unopened because they are selling a 2008 model using a photo of the 2010 model and the two models are different. They charge me a 15% restocking fee when I was mislead by the photo on their web site. "

"I was looking for a particular handlebar, and found Alfred E. Bike has it from the web. They are a great shop to deal with, great communication, excellent price.
