The website offered a bug shield for a 2012 model, which is identical to a 2013 model, if you set the two cars side by side. Prior to installation, I tried the bug shield on my car and it seemed to fit as the actual picture shown on Car Stuff\u0027s website. After installation, I closed the hood and it wouldn\u0027t shut properly. If you attempt to close it hard, it will, but it causes the hood to push up, and doesn\u0027t line up with the contours that the hood and fenders share. Also, the two outside screws provided make contact with and scar the headlights. I called Car Stuff about the issue, and they apologized about the information provided on their website and are allowing me to return the item. As far as the damage to my 2 week old car, they offered me a discount on future purchases. Pretty lame if you ask me. The brand name of the bug shield is EGR. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM FOR A 2012-2013 ELANTRA !!!
