" On 04/16/12, I custom ordered a $2500 computer that can handle HD video editing for various sporting events. I spoke to Sales Rep. Gene who was very helpful and knowledgeable.
On 04/25/12. I received the computer about a week later. When I turned on the Computer, the resolution on the display was not correct and looked terrible. I was unable to change the settings. After rebooting a couple of times, the display resolution fixed itself. I immediately started to play some HD video clips. The computer froze several times and crashed, and I had to manually reboot. Other times it would crash and reboot by itself. While browsing the Internet, the computer would also crash. The notification was that the video card stopped responding and that appeared to cause the computer to crash.
Called Gene after not being able to get hold of Tech support. Gene was very helpful. He remotely logged on to my computer and tried to resolve fix the problem himself again. However, computer still crashed. Tech support, Edward, tried to fix problem but still crashed.
Called Gene back. Gene determined that video card was defective and decided to send me another video card. Gave me instructions on how to remove video card from computer. I sent the video card back and received a different one the following week on 05/02/12. I installed the new video card but noticed that the resolution was terrible again. Called Tech support but no luck. Called Gene and he remotely reinstalled some drivers. Resolution appeared to be normal.
Played around with it some more. Played HD video clips. After several clips, it froze and crashed, but no notification that video card had stopped this time. Even while browsing the internet and not watching any video, the computer dislpay would become distorted, freeze and crash repeatedly. It was now worse then before.
Called Tech Support, Edward, and told him about the problem. Initially, he told me to install MSI Afterburner and that would fix the problem. I was skeptical installing that would fix the problem and knew something more serious was the probelm. Edward brushed me off and said that it was "not their problem". He didn't bother to remotely log into my computer to check out the problem. I was pissed by this response. What was the point of calling Tech Support if they give you that type of reponse or "support"? I told him that I was going to return the computer and hung up oh him.
I called back to ask to speak to another Tech support person and a supervisor. Edward answered the phone and advised he was it for Tech support. He was apologetic and advised he was helping another customer when I had called. I told him that's all he had to say and he could have called me back to assit me.
Edward then remotely logged on my computer and found that there was some type of problem with the video card that would not allow him to make any changes. He couldn't quite figure out what the problem was. He suggested that it might be a bad batch of Windows 7 OS. So, he talked me through on how to reinstall Windows 7 OS.
So far the computer seems to be running okay. There was a noticeable difference after reinstalling Windows 7 OS. The computer did freeze a couple of times when watching videos on the internet, and I had to manually reboot. The computer also froze 2-3 time while I was rendering several video soccer games, and I had to reboot. However, the computer seems to be alot more stable.
I am closely monitoring the computer now to see if rendering videos on the computer with Sony Vegas 11HD is causing the computer to crash or if the computer is defective and causing it to crash. So far everything is okay for now.
Also, a couple of connections inside the computer tower was disconnected (fan and extra USB ports)when I opened the panel. Gene assisted me in get those connections back together.
What kept me from returning this computer was Gene. Who was extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Gene definitely made the sale and kept the sale. Thanks Gene for your assistance. Hopefully, this computer remains stable with no further issues. Computer performance is great. I would love to keep it, but I am keeping all the original boxes and accessories together just in case this turns out to be a lemon."

"To summarize it in two words, THE BEST!! This is my second computer i bought from computerlx and this time being from their website. I bought a previous one from their ebay account and I have to say they both so far have done me wonders. The prices are great and the computer is just the way you want it. I've been recommending this place to many of my friends/family and if I ever need a new computer with reliability, I know to come to you guys. "

"This computer started as a basic gaming system with options to upgrade just about everything. I did. As usual there were the incompatability issues because of my selections potentially not working well with eachother. I am greatful that they did not just build and ship the computer as ordered...The lady that contacted me to go over my order (Elena) was very informative about how to accomplish what I was trying to build, and helped me to designe what I think is a really great system. I maxed out everything that I could afford to max out on...and I think I got pretty good bang for the buck. I reserched the case, the motherboard and graphic card combo here, so I have exactly what I wanted to build in this system. Workmanship is top dollar, the parts are all good quality, name brand and matched to work with eachother....I couldn't be happier with this computer. The ONLY thing I have done is trick-out the fans...came with 4 120mm red led fans...I now have installed, in fan mounts, a total of 8 120mm led fans (4 red, 4 yellow), 6 slim-line black 120mm fans, 4 80mm uv-orange led fans, and a slot card 2-fan blue led card fan (2 open slots under graphic card). This thing runs cool...and pretty to look at. I couldnt be happier. Thank you."

"Gene helped me customize this computer to exactly how I wanted it. Very friendly support, great computer, fast delivery. If you don't know how to build a computer just leave it to these guys. You even get a 3 year warranty! Absolutely Satisfied!"
