I will be buying all my tires from these guys. and you should too. Just make sure you shop around a bit when getting them mounted/balanced. I saved 40 dollars by calling around a bit."

"I have to say that I am extremely happy with this merchant. I cracked a rim on my Expedition and have been driving around on the spare for months trying to located a replacement. The Ford dealerships wanted $535 for a single steel rim!
I finally gave up and decided to just buy a completely new set of rims. I looked at a number of both online and local retail sources when I came upon Discount Tire Direct. They had a rim I liked at reasonable prices.
After picking out the rim I decided to call the company to verify that the rims would both fit my truck and that my current tires (relatively new) would fit on these rims.
Once all was verified, the gent I spoke with dropped the price another $50 so the bottom line was a I got all four alloy rims, caps and chrome valve stems and the lug-nut set with key, shipped for $456!
To top things off, I was expecting processing and shipping to take a week or so but I ordered the things on a Tuesday and had them in hand by 1:00 Thursday!
I have since taken them to my local Firestone and had the tires remounted. Everything fit perfectly. No issues with rims and the things look terrific.
All in all, you can't have a better online ordering experience than that!

"DTD has a reputation on the web for having excellent customer service. I once posted something on a web forum about DTD and a customer service rep emailed me concerning it. They have employees that participate in relevant forums and I've seen many good things posted on the company.
After having a terrible experience with Wheels Next, I ordered a set of wheels and tires from DTD. The set was balanced and shipped out the next day. The wheels were made by Vision and due to poor design, two of the center caps broke when I installed them. I emailed DTD and they sent replacements at no extra charge. I didn't even need to send back the broken center caps. They could have told me to contact the manufacturer, but they went above and beyond my expectations."
"I recently ordered a set of Goodyear Duratrac tires from Kyle Kennedy at Discount Tire Direct, I received them in perfect condition yesterday and had them mounted and balanced today. I spent weeks trying to find a set of these tires in a large size (315 75R16) and it was proving to be very difficult to find them locally, or anywhere in the US or Canada that wasn’t going to take at least 6 weeks to arrive. They were sold out everywhere and no one was able to give me an estimated ship date any closer than 6 weeks. There were a couple places that showed in stock on the website but the shipping was anywhere from 500-800 bucks (to BC, Canada) so I didn’t even bother calling to verify stock. Then I found Discount Tire Direct and when I typed in my postal code it said free shipping and naturally I thought this was an error. So I called and got Kyle on the phone, very helpful and knowledgeable guy. He said I have good news and bad news, that they didn’t have any immediate stock but were expecting a shipment the following week. I asked about the free shipping thing and he said it was no mistake but that they do in fact ship free to the US and Canada! He assured me that the UPS man would not show up at my door with his hand out. I was skeptical seeing as I’d been spending weeks trying to find any tires in the size I needed in an all-season with the snowflake rating. Turns out there are only 2 tires on the market in my size with that and they were both sold out everywhere. After reviewing them online it seemed they were legit so I phoned back and ordered my tires, Kyle took my order over the phone to make sure that when they arrived I had dibs on my set when they arrived and when done he e-mailed me a screenshot of the invoice from his computer. They ended up being $300 cheaper than any quote I got locally. We arranged a ship date and they actually ended up coming a day early which worked out perfectly for me. They shipped out on Dec 1 and arrived Dec 8 (6 business days). As promised no money was exchanged at the door and I am extremely happy with my order and the level of customer service I received at Discount Tire Direct. All of my future tires will be purchased through them."
