"On 3/6/2012, I placed an order for Viking cooktop, VGSU1044BSS. Throughout the online order process, availability of the cooktop was not available...therfore, leaving me to assume it was available for purchase. Immediately following completion of online ordering, I received a generated email from the company informing me that the cooktop was backordered.
I have talked with the company representative and told that the estimated shipping was several weeks into the month of April
My kitchen remodeling and granite counter completion had to be placed on hold!!!!!
Possibly, Elite should inform customers of the product availablilty prior to placing the order."

"I checked out Elite Appliance to get a Viking Oven. I had been doing my research on ovens, and they had the one I wanted, So I ordered it and called to make sure they got my order. They really made it easy on me since I'd never really ordered something so big without seeing it first. It was such a relief, especially since I absolutely hate shopping. I got the oven around the time they said I would, and it looked just like the picture! I was SO happy! Thanks Elite!"

"Ordered Capital Culinarian Rangetop in November. 2 months later still no rangetop and no estimated delivery date. After several weeks of leaving messages, salesmen finally called to say still no estimated date from distributor. Capital customer service has confirmed that there is no backorder on my model and units are currently available. "

“We appreciate your comments. Apparently this item was involved in a shipping mixup from the manufacturer, which caused heavy delays. This is not a a typical situation at Elite, but we are investigating the issue to make sure we perform better in the future.”

"Good prices and friendly sales staff are about all this company has going for them. The customer service sucks! They don't return calls. Every time I call I get excuses and a promise of a call back with an update. The call back doesn't come. All this from the VP of Sales. Save yourself the trouble people. The frustration just isn't worth it."

"Elite Appliance has great brands and fabulous prices, and they answer or return calls quickly. Unfortunately, it took 18 days to get our new dishwasher. We were told it was in stock when we called to check before ordering. After we submitted the order we received an email saying that it was out of stock. We called and were told it WAS coming. Then another email about it being out of stock. We finally got a dishwasher (ordered on 9/5, arrived on 9/16), only to find that it is THE WRONG DISHWASHER. As it was Friday afternoon here (and after close of business in Texas), I was told by the person who answered the phones that they could not resolve my issue until Monday morning. I spoke with them again on Monday (very promptly dealt with once Monday arrived). I was told that my new dishwasher would arrive in an "estimated delivery time of 3 days." It actually took 5 days, but I am delighted to say it is now here (on 9/23). The folks at Elite Appliance were very apologetic and had the new dishwasher shipped directly to my home (and the other taken away)."
