In this case we did match the price for this customer and beat the price by $5.00 as requested but we offered a book with the purchase that our competitor did not offer. Since the customer had already applied a $10.00 coupon to the order the difference in price after we beat it by $5.00 was a mere $2.00 so we simply wanted to be make sure that he wanted the price match instead of the free book which was the better value. We were not tring to hassle the customer regarding the price match; quite the opposite actually. We wanted to make sure the customer received the best value.”
"I'll never order from Everything Kitchens again. I received a confirmation of my order on April 26 stating it would be sent in the next 24 - 48 hours and to allow 3 to 10 business days for shipping. I called them on May 15 (18 days later) to find out why I hadn't received my coffee maker. Apparently it was on back order indefinitely (they never told me that and we're never planning on telling me. They said they would have it shipped from a store but could not expedite it or do anything to make it up to me. "
