"I received the boots a day sooner than promised and wore them for a short mile walk around home. They felt good so I wore them on a 2 1/2 mile hike in a near by park the next day. Still felt good and gave good traction on the wet trail. Since I am 69 my feet have a few aches and pains occasionally but these boots took good care of my feet and I look forward to hiking with them tomorrow at the park again. I did order a 1/2 size larger as some of the reviews suggested and they fit just right. I plan to hike a real mountain this summer after practicing in the park and am sure these boots will serve me well. They are everything they were advertised to be."
