posted Apr-25-2012 “Unfortunately this is one of few cases where we really cannot do anything. Customer contacted us 2 weeks after delivery complaining about the quality and want to return the item without any packaging. We explained to him that it is not possible to return it anymore and we asked him for some pictures to evaluate the issue. Based on pictures, it seems that the marble top might have been hit with something.
Customer signed the delivery receipt as received in good condition. Customer then hired a mover company to place the item and when doing so throw away the packaging. If the customer had noticed the issues at the time the mover unpacked the item (and it's a very obvious one based on the pictures), he should have contacted us right away and we can still try to process the claim and even to process the return.
Since it looks like an obvious hit, we advise the customer to file the claim with the mover company since it's the most likely source of the issue.”
