posted May-08-2012 “We are very sorry that you are displeased with the Honeywell prefilter you ordered. We take pride in reselling the complete Honeywell filter and prefilter line. The manufacturer does make changes in their product at times. In this case it appears that the new prefilters are recommended to be changed every 3 months so that they may more effectively trap harmful gases and larger particles of dust, pollen and pet fur.
If you would like a more complete or technical explanation regarding the change, we would be happy to get you in contact with the manufacturer for an explanation.”
