posted May-16-2012 “Selling "Open Box" is usually a winning proposition for all concerned. We get to move a piece that may not sell so easily since it's been opened, and the consumer gets a good deal. The possible wrinkle is that there might be, in spite of the care we take, a piece that goes missing. We spoke with this customer and apologized. He has found a part that completes this and it is now fully functional. We have given him future consideration for his inconvenience.

"I purchased an iPad and a cover as my first order with J&R
so I was a little nervous. I have bought electronics from other on line sites only to find out that they were refurbished. But not the case with J & R. My order arrived on schedule and new in the box just as promised.And I saved 100.00. I did return the cover because it wasn't what I thought it was (my fault)I followed their instructions for returns and in 4 days I had my credit. I had them keep it as store credit because I know I will be doing all my purchases with J&R from here on out. Keep up the good work. "
