"I purchased an iPad and a cover as my first order with J&R
so I was a little nervous. I have bought electronics from other on line sites only to find out that they were refurbished. But not the case with J & R. My order arrived on schedule and new in the box just as promised.And I saved 100.00. I did return the cover because it wasn't what I thought it was (my fault)I followed their instructions for returns and in 4 days I had my credit. I had them keep it as store credit because I know I will be doing all my purchases with J&R from here on out. Keep up the good work. "

"Ordered some headphones (A900X)from J&Rs (I'm in California), J&R was able to ship out the headphones a day earlier then expected, it only took them a couple of hours after I ordered to have them in the shippers (UPS) hands. So my headphones arrived about 28 hours earlier then I expected. It made my day."

" I ordered the Fuego portable gas grill. There were some issues with the product that I thought I'd let you know about.

1. The inside of the lid was scratched in several places.

2. The push button igniter does not work.

3. There is a very small piece missing from where the grill burner connects to the grill to the gas control nozzle. There is supposed to be a very small "nipple" that allows the nozzle to turn in and lock on to it. This piece is missing in my unit and thus the gas nozzle cannot be secured safely to the grill burner.

So, to me, it seems this particular unit must have been a floor model because of the scratches and missing parts. This would explain why it was being sold for roughly $50 less than the full retail version. None the less, I believe the folks that sold it should have taken a little more time to inspect it and ensure the parts worked and fit together correctly.

Just to be clear, I'm not angry about this. I don't expect to send it back to you. I don't expect a refund. I don't even expect spare parts.

I just thought I'd let you know because you sent me an email asking for feedback.

“Selling "Open Box" is usually a winning proposition for all concerned. We get to move a piece that may not sell so easily since it's been opened, and the consumer gets a good deal. The possible wrinkle is that there might be, in spite of the care we take, a piece that goes missing. We spoke with this customer and apologized. He has found a part that completes this and it is now fully functional. We have given him future consideration for his inconvenience.
