"My experience with Let's Talk (Walmart Wireless) has been terrible, to say the least.
This company catches you with amazing prices on their phones. But that is all they have to offer. And it is certainly not worth it!
First of all, they are not fully knowledgeable about Verizon's policies. They told me one thing, and Verizon told me something else. Let's Talk was simply wrong.
But besides that, this company is impossible to deal with. If you have a business account with your carrier, Let's Talk requires more documentation than Verizon does.
I made this order on a Thursday. After I made the order, I did not receive any notifications or updates. I had to go into their site to check on the status. It was only there, on Friday, that I found out that my order could not be processed without more documentation.
I called Let's Talk and faxed in what they needed. I told the representative that I wanted to make changes on the order before it was shipped out. He told me that I would receive an email within the hour notifying me when my documents have been approved. I should call back then and make my changes.
I never got that email. I had to call back again. They told me that they never received my fax. But after being put on hold for a while, they found it. Then they told me to keep on checking my email. My order will be processed "any minute". Then, they told me, when my documents were accepted, and I get the email, I could change my order.
I told them that if the order is not completed that day, then forget it. Just cancel my order.
I never got an email on that day (Friday). On Saturday, they sent me their next email. "As part of our commitment to provide a safe online shopping experience, Walmart Connection Center routinely reviews orders to prevent fraud. The recent order you placed requires verification before it may be processed further."
I sent them back an angry email that they missed the boat!! The order was supposed to go out on Friday, and it was too late.
I thought that since I never called them to verify the information they needed, and they missed my Friday deadline, that my order was cancelled.
The next thing I know, I get an email on Monday that my order was shipped! WHO TOLD THEM TO SHIP THE ORDER? As far as I was concerned, the order was cancelled!!
NOW, HERE IS WHERE IT GETS EVEN WORSE! My cell phone did not ring at all on Tuesday. I had no idea why. I was expecting calls, but nobody called. Later that evening, I attempted to make calls, and my phone was not working.
I called Verizon and they told me that I must have authorized somebody to shut off my phone. But I did not!!
So Verizon called Let's Talk and put us together on a conference call. It turns out that Let's Talk deactivated my old phone Tuesday morning and left me without phone service. And they did this without notifying me!! The new phone did not arrive until 6:30 pm.
We were on the phone, all three of us, for about 45 minutes trying to figure out who authorized Let's Talk to play around and shut off my service. We never came to a solution.
Then, I called my voice-mail and found out that I missed at least four important calls.
Now I just want to return the phone. Lets talk sent me an email how to print out a return label from their site which is required to return the phone. But their site does not work. I tried many times. The link they tell me to click id broken.
Dealing with this company feels like dealing with some third-world company. It has been a real pain in the neck. When I told that to them, they responded "but all of our call centers are in the U.S."! But to me, at least, they seem to operate like a third-world company.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!!"

"Order was canceled because apparently there is a requirement that in upgrading my phone and renewing my plan, I must change my plan to one of the current plans offered. Very sneaky Let's Talk.... Needless to say, since the current Verizon plans suck ass compared to my grandfathered plan from the acquisition of Alltel, I will not be shopping from Let's Talk anymore. Unfortunate."

"Did not process. I was trying to upgrade a phone that I have on a family plan. It would always come back and tell me that I didn't qualify for the upgrade and would cancel my order, never tried to contact me to figure out what was happening. Eventually, I got tired of it and just went to the store and got the same phone."
"My experience with Let's Talk has been Fantastic. I spoke with a Sales Rep. named Erica and placed an order for two phones from Verizon at 11:15 PM Monday. At 10:30 AM Wednesday the phones were delivered. The company has been great to deal with and two phones and next day shipping all for FREE. I consider that a DEAL.. Thanks again Let's Talk, I will be contacting you again when I need my next phone."
"This company sucks!!!! Loop holes in all their "rules" and customer service is horrible. They are easy to send you a phone (and yes def good prices), but should you need to return or deactivate for any reason, your put on hold for minimum 30 min. up to an hour! Then you deal with rude reps who do nothing to accomodate you! Will NEVER use this company again. I don't care how much money I save on a phone. Their customer service is horrible... Guess you get what you pay for! "
