"I bought one of these tablets for my husband for Christmas, and he likes it so much that I bought one for myself. Bearing in mind that the price was only $99 at the time, it is a great deal. Many of the "problems" about the product can be solved with a little research on the web.
1) Don't forget a memory card. The device supports up to 32 GB microSD memory card; I bought 16 GB cards and there seems to be adequate room for storage (video, audio).
2) Case & keyboard - LITB sells a protective case with a USB keyboard that holds the tablet & works great with it. You'll need to plug in the USB/ethernet dongle to connect it. It natively supports a USB mouse the same way.
3) The dongle will support USB flash drives, but if you want to watch video you should copy the files to the SD card from the flash drive. Playback may be jerky & pause otherwise.
4) Angry Birds - when installed from the link supplied by LITB, the program opens but the screen displays only a portion of the screen and is not playable.
5) Apps - the Amazon App Store will install, and many apps there will work (some are too much for the tablet hardware) - you'll have to experiment.
6) Bearing in mind the LITB warning about voiding your warranty, the device will work with "aftermarket" ROMs. The Uberoid 10.1 ROM will work with this device; option 10. If you install the ROM, do your research and understand what you're doing. Touchscreen calibration can be touchy and an attached mouse will help you during the initial setup. You will need a microSD card to perform the upgrade. The Google App store will work after the upgrade.
7) Not all apps will work with this device. Some require different levels of hardware and will not run. The only Adobe Flash player that will run is the 10.1 version and Adobe is not going to upgrade Flash for the processor in this tablet.
Bearing in mind the low price for this tablet, it really is a good value for the money and will get you used to Android. Perhaps in the future you'll want to buy a more capable tablet from LITB!"
