"I have almost nothing but good things to say about Magicmicro. There web site allows you to build a custom PC and for the novice that's really nice to know that you really can't make a mistake because the web site will only match up the correct parts, taking the research and guess work out of building a computer. The only thing I though was interesting was when I got the computer the DVD drive was not plugged in. Human error which is COOL! Besides that wonderful customer service and very friendly! Will buy from you guys and gals again!"
"MagicMicro's website was a lot of fun. I spent several weeks configuring my "dream machine" using thier very large selection of options and computer components. The last option was what kind of case would take advantage of all the features I wanted. Antec was my choice and I placed my order. MagicMicro called within hours about a problem with my credit card. (I didn't realize it had a $1500.00 daily limit.) Called the bank, raised my limit, and completed the order while MagicMicro was still on the other line. Before hanging up I asked if it could be held until Wednesday to be shipped. The lady asked if I might like to have a Saturday delivery. That was perfect! It arrived on Friday - I would have missed it if I had not checked the website Friday morning. After receipt, plugged it in and everything seemed to be exactly what I ordered. Then I discovered there was no front panel IEEE port installed even though that was one of the main reasons I ordered the Antec case. Also the two front panel USB ports did not function - again a reason for the Antec case. I was a lead configuration tech for MicroWarehouse before they were bought out by CDW, so I felt comfortable opening it up to see if something was unplugged. The wiring was atrocious and it looked like it was just mangled inside. The side window had a large scratch. As it turned out, the connector for the USB ports wasn't compatible with the motherboard connector and there wasn't even an attempt to hook up the IEEE-1394. You'd think that I would have received a call about the front panel hookups but thier tech just decided to wind up the cable inside and I guess they determined that I didn't need the front panel features. After all, they called me immediately about the credit card. I love the computer but I would have liked everything I paid for to be functional.
Update: 5/16/12 - I was contacted both by phone and e-mail to try to resolve my issues with my front panel ports. I am finding out that their customer service is a lot better than some of the posts I've seen here. The initial problem was that Antec changed the case but didn't change the model number, so I received a newer case but with compatibility issues. MagicMicro is going out of their way to try to make me happy. I'll update this review once everything is 'hunkie-dorie." "

"Ordered a custom PC on Monday and it was delivered the following Saturday. I could not be happier with the PC or MagicMicro. The PC came exactly as ordered and was neatly assembled. Before ordering my PC I priced out all the parts and it was actually cheaper having MagicMicro do the build than it would have been for me to build it. I also called and emailed customer service with questions before I ordered and my questions were promptly answered."
"Great Company! Fast biuld and fast shipping, faster than expected. Graphics card wan't compatible but they sent me a different one right away, came in two days, then sent old one back for free. Thanks! Will recommend!"
"I was quite pleased with the product I received which worked fine and is superbly built. Apart from me having to access the BIOS to enable the sound card, the only other problem was although there were 4 extra data leads with the package you sent, there were no extra power leads included to enable me to add further drives in the future. Could you please forward these?
"Recently, I received a computer that I had ordered from MagicMicro. I opened the computer up to check the assembly and how well they had done so. My motherboard is the ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3 Z68 and my hard drive is an SSD. My hard drive supports 6 gb/s with a SATA 3 connection. However, when I opened up the computer, I found that they had used a SATA 2 cable and hooked it up to SATA 2 port on the motherboard. Also, when I checked CMOS setup, they didn't even open the SATA 3 port. It was disabled. I read online that after assembling my computer, they would test it. However, the SATA connections were wrong and CMOS setup wasn't changed accordingly. Also, on the motherboard, the screw that is used to hold it into the computer was missing. I have over 20 years of experience as a computer technician so I was able to fix it myself. I personally had to buy the SATA 3 cable at Fry's Electronics for eight dollars. Whoever assembles and tests these computers needs to focus and concentrate on their work."
"Great store. I buy for my clients from here and they give me excellent service. They advise me on my decisions if I've made a dumb choice, and I can ask them to modify my orders easily. I choose the fastest, longest lasting components for each build, from the case to the CPU, and MM helps me do it. Good warranty, toll free phone number to an American. They even burn it in for me. Sweet."
