"never got stove, they kept lieing to me about the shipment date, never called back, I felt like I was talking to fast eddy, finally called visa within 60 day and visa reversed the charges back to my card

" I purchased a compact fridge from Moe's.The Customer Care was fine. They handled the transaction efficiently once the paperwork was properly faxed in. The unit seemed in perfect condition and has shown no signs of defect. I would recommend them to people."

"I was recently contacted by Moe's to write a review for them on an order I bought last year. I was offered a discount for any published review, bad or good, but I don't plan on buying anything for a long time so I planned on ignoring their email request. Out of curiosity, I clicked on the link and saw all those negative reviews so I felt compelled to tell my side of story regarding my experience with Moe's.

I purchased nearly 5k worth of merchandise from Moes Market, but it wasn't an easy purchase because my credit card kept coming up declined. I don't recall all the details but it had something to do with the large amount of the purchase and the different billing and shipping address.

I called and left a message on their voicemail, which was returned within the hour by a young lady named Erica I think. She explained to me that problem and suggested I send a check, as no alternate address verification was needed.

I did want the washer/dryer, TV, TV stand, and blue-ray player ASAP since I had just moved to a new house that needed furnishing, but their prices were so good I sent a check (which I was told would take a few weeks to process what with snail-mail, check depositing, and check clearing). It took nearly 2 weeks from the time I sent my check to the time I was notified it cleared and the blue-ray had run out by the time my check cleared so it was sent later, but the rest of the stuff arrived within 5 days of my being told the check had cleared. The blue ray followed about 2 weeks later.

My only complaint is that check orders take too long and they should have some sort of electronic check payment method. Still, the prices were lower than anyone else on the internet and their customer service went far and beyond the call of duty to help me get my order processed. All in all, I have recommended Moe's to a few friends and will continue to do so if anyone asks."

"Moes has what most companies lack, awesome customer service. The only "hang-up" when ordering is that if the shipping address and the billing address are different, you will have a bit of trouble ordering. I had this problem, but it's the business just trying to protect the customers by verifying all charge info prior to shipping. The people that work there were awesome making sure I received my product as promptly as possible. They went above and beyond. I highly recommend using this company and you can't beat the low prices. Luy ya Moe's Mega Market.....keep up the good work."

"Do not buy from Moes Mega Market. I put a order in May 11 for the amount of $571.41. It did not ship. After six weeks with no shipment and several calls they agreed to send a refund. This is July 25 amd many calls and still no refund. Most of the calls went in to voice mail and they have not returned one call.

I received a check Aug 16"

“This order had a billing address in Virginia with requested Overnight delivery to a New York address. We speak from experience when we say that an order with a different billing and shipping address, as well as Overnight delivery to an address different then the billing address, is a red flag for fraud.

For the protection of our customers, any order with a different billing and shipping address undergoes extra security and verification procedures. We know this is an inconvenience for our customers and a time waster for us, but we do it to protect our customers from fraud.

Unfortunately this order NEVER PASSED VERIFICATION, meaning that alternate shipping address was never added to the credit card company file. This order was cancelled June 11th and refunded in full.

Again, we are sorry this individual is so upset his order was canceled as potential fraud because the alternate address was never added, but we stand by the hundreds of fraudulent orders we have stopped using our added security and verification steps.”

"Purchased Sharp Microwave on 4/27/2011.
They called to have my Cr Cd Co add my
delivery address to card info because it
was different from billing address. Mr Cr
Cd provider thought that was weird. They
drafted the money on 4/29/2011. They have yet
to come thru with the microwave. Computer down,
call back, they could not get a tracking number,
(I guess from their provider.) Nonetheless after a
million phone calls (mostly busy signal or no answer) and demanding my money returned I have yet to get satisfaction. It is now 5 weeks and it looks like no hope.
NEVER use a debit card to make an online purchase"

“We apologize that this customer is so upset, but this order was refunded in full back on June 1st, 2011 (which is the day the order was canceled). We have no reason to hold on to a customer's money after an order is canceled.

When the customer ordered his merchandise there was one unit available. Unfortunately the customer wanted to ship to an address other then his billing address. As we tell customers, this tends to slow down orders considerably because of added protections and verification steps. By the time the order was verified towards the end of May, the item was no longer in stock and was back ordered. At this point the customer canceled his order because he did not want to wait any longer for his unit.

Although we realize it is an inconvenience for us and the customer alike, we have an added security step to protect our customers from fraud. If the billing address is different from the shipping address we require the customer to have that alternate shipping address added with their credit card company as an authorized alternate shipping address. This prevents someone from stealing a person's credit card and ordering merchandise to a different location. We are sure if your credit card were stolen, you would appreciate a merchant not taking the quick sale but taking the time to protect their customer's security.

We understand the customer is upset he did not get his merchandise, but that is no reason to lie and tell people we are stealing from him as he has been refunded in full.”
