We're really happy to hear that you're statisfied with our service and the dress you received.
We do apologize for the custom duty you had to pay on your dress. At OuterInner.com we always try to help our customers pay as little tax as possible, however rules vary from country to country, so we never know if you might be taxed or not, and regrettably we can't be responsible for that.
Every commercial invoice is actually there to help customs officers do their jobs, and in this case we've marked on it 'Sample, and no COMMERCIAL VALUE.' This is the best way to prevent or keep tax low in our experience.
We will not mark 'Gift' on the invoice, as in our experience this will easily draw the attention from the customs officer, and cause more tax to be applied for you, so that's the reason why we don't do it. This is because too many companies mark every package they send as 'gift' and customs are now wise to this.
In future, if you have a question about tax or any requests for us regarding the labelling of the package then you can always tell us by email when ordering or later before the item is shipped and we will try to help by implementing these suggestions.
