"Purchased three pillows plus a comforter after staying at the Mirage. The comforter is by Rocky Mountain and is down. I payed $259 for it and It is horrible. The feathers have long, pointed ends to them, so they stick out and jab you when you are using the comforter. I have never had feathers like this in any down comforter I have owned. May try adding a duvet to see if that helps. The weight and fill are OK. The pillows are so-so. They are much flatter than the ones in the hotel. Did ship fast.
UPDATE: RECEIVED PERSONAL EMAIL FROM OWNER & THE COMPANY GLADLY EXCHANGED ALL MY ITEMS AND COVERED COST OF RETRUN SHIPPING. GREAT COMPANY AND WILL SHOP THERE AGAIN! THE COMFORTER I ORDERED ORIGINALLY HAD A HIGHER CONCENTRATION OF FEATHERS AND MY NEW ONE IS PLUSH, WARM AND VERY COMFORTABLE. "

We will either a) issue a 100% refund and a pre-paid return shipping label or b) send you a different set of pillows that we choose together based on your preferences at no expense to you (if you also do not like these pillows we will gladly make you whole by issuing you a full refund and a pre-paid shipping label to return all pillows). We carry over 800 different pillows and I am confident that we can find a pillow that will be perfect for you. Our goal is to get our customers the best possible pillow for their sleep preference so they get a great night of sleep every night and we want to ensure that every customer is fully satisfied with their experience with our company. "Up front the company seems customer friendly - answered questions quickly and fast service and delivery. However, the online picture did not represent the true color of the product. I ended up returning the bed sheet set in it's original condition (not even opened) and was subject to their return fees. Currently they they deduct another $15 for returning an item, so just be aware and read the fine print as $15 may be significant based on your item value.

The reseller was quick to respond to my concern and notified me that they were considering updating their return policy in 2012. In addition, they worked with me to resolve my concerns.

Overall, they changed my impression of them and would consider purchasing from them again."

Worst pillows ever. My return letter to them:

Hello,

I wish to return these pillows. I am appalled at the quality of them. To have said these once cost 179 dollars is outrageous. Even after fluffing them and letting them sit for 5 days, these pillows are only 2-3 inches thick of poor quality filling, which offers no support.

I also believe that your return policy forces you to keep the product. For instance I paid 59 dollars for the pillows. If I return them you will charge me 15 dollars in processing. This means I will only get 44 dollars back. On top of that, I will have to pay 20 dollars to ship them back to you. So I will have to spend another 20 dollars leaving me at 24 dollars. By purchasing these pillows from you, I have effectively paid 35 dollars to try sub par pillows that would never be in any respectable hotel.


Please send me an RMA #.

I will definitely be posting your tactics and my experiences on google, biz rate, bing, and bensbargains.net. I will never again buy bedding from an online site after this experience. You should be ashamed to have such business practices in this economy."

"This is the worst purchase I have ever been in online. These pillows even not worth a dollar. After I received the pillows I noticed these pillows are so thin. I sent a note to the company then I received a video showing to puff the pillows for 5 days. I tried that for 5 days which is waste of my time the pillow doesn't change shape or thickness. Again I sent mail to company to get RMA. They told I have to pay the return shipping if I would like to return. Fedex costs $60 which is more than what I spent for these pillows, so I decided not to return since is waste of time and money. After my review comments CEO was sent mail stating money is refunded. problem resolved"

"I bought the Phoenix Overstuffed Down Pillows and had too much faith in them before I even started to use them. I understand the company has a 30 day return policy, however, I threw away the box.
I am hoping I will like them over the week, but so far they don't seem overstuffed (even after I tried the pillow fluffing video Pacific Pillows have on youtube.com) and they sink as soon as I rest my head on them.

Update: 20 minutes after posting this review- the CEO emailed me regarding returns and refunds, and an honest answer about firmer pillows. I think I am going to keep these pillows and hope I find the ones I want soon on Pacific Pillows- I still have a lot of faith in them. Especially after coming across such stellar customer service. "

"I had ordered a mattress topper, but upon receiving it I found that one side was missing filling (it was a synthetic one) and the sewing between 2 parts was not sewn all the way through explaining why there was a problem.
In contacting the company, they insisted on doing a return and had the attitude that I was lying about it being defective. Seeing how I was being treated, I decided just to return the topper at my own expense (almost $20!) even though normal companies would pay to have a flawed item returned to them. In a BBB dispute against them they are refusing to reimburse me for my shipping back to them. I definitely don't recommend this company, unless you're positive you'll be happy with your order.

Update (10/5/11):
The CEO contacted me, and made things right. I'm happy with being reimbursed for shipping and they even offered an extra, but I got what I wanted. "

"Ordered a king set of Encompass Group 65/35 Feather and Down Pillows and upon receiving them, they are very flat and not all what I would expect from a $130 set of pillows. I tried the recommended fluffing technique for about 30 minutes on each pillow for the past 5 days, which resulted in a minimal improvement. I also noticed that my tag says 50/50 and company is responding with very vague answers as to what the actual pillow composition is. Overall, I am most dissatisfied with the pillows and attempted to get a prepaid RMA return label, to which the company responded I would need to pay the return shipping. If i felt that the pillows were of high quality and I just didn't like them, I would pay the return shipping; however, I feel as though these pillows are of the same quality as the cheap pillows you can get at any big box store. I feel as though the company tried to pull a fast one by attempting to make it sound like we were getting a high quality pillow but then delivering a much lower quality one.

So I opened a dispute with my credit card company to get them to pay for return shipping and a full refund.
