"I just want to say how pleased we are with our new pump and filter system. Your phone agent helped me with the fear of taking on this job myself, and he was right, I did it with very little trouble and time. In less than 2 hours, I had it done, and saved myself over $500 in product, and $300+ in labor! :-) Thanks, Poolcenter! "

"Ordered 10 EZ Patch 23 from them today online...received confirmation right away. Paid for Fedex Standard Overnight. Called a few minutes ago when I did not receive a Fedex Number. 5 were backordered and they input manually....the person who did the input mistakenly put Fedex ground. We cannot use these after tomorrow and will not be at the shipping address when they are delivered. Customer service is terrible. I asked for the order to be cancelled and was told they cannot do it...I will have to refuse shipment. Customer service supervisor (if she was one) would not give out her last name....very rude and unhelpful. Lauren should probably not be in a
supervisory role.

In reply to the response below....According to an email and 1 customer service rep and Lauren the shipment was not arriving today due to someone on your end incorrectly inputting the shipping information. We would have been happy with 5 arriving today, but I was told there was no way to change the shipment....so what is the real story???"

My apologies for this situation, we should not have split shipped an overnight caulking order. We are attempting to stop the half-order that is in transit, arriving tomorrow. Your order will be fully refunded, including all ship cost, when we close out the order.

This is not a normal situation at poolcenter, my apologies that our failure inconvenienced you.

The 5 tubes were shipped, but unfortunately did ship Ground and are not due to arrive until tomorrow (Weds). I understand that you won't be at the hotel any longer. If that changes, let me know ~

"I don't normally write reviews of companies, but I felt compelled to tell my story. My husband and I had been shopping for a new filter system since the end of last season. We even kept a spreadsheet of prices + shipping, and Tom developed an "algorithm" he called it, to rate the companies, based on their scores.

Poolcenter had the best price consistently, even with shipping included. They didn't have the best overall review score (algo :-)) but they had 10x the number of reviews of other sites. It was only a few points difference, so we were willing to overlook it.

Well, we ordered from poolcenter, no problems, stuff arrived in good condition. While installing tho - Tom broke something, part of the filter. We called poolcenter, and although they charged us for the part, they rushed it to us overnight, for no extra shipping fees. Got the part next day, and included was a note written by a very knowledgeable person "Rob" - who gave Tom some help with installing it so it wouldn't break again.

All fixed up, and now our pool is running smooth - if it would just get a little warmer! Thanks poolcenter for a job well done!

"Love, love, love poolcenter. Prices are really good, shipping is fast. They have more parts than other sites, which is good, cuz I like to make my own repairs. Last order I replaced my pool motor, and the seal, got it all done in 1 hour *pats self on back. Thanks, poolcenter, keep up the good work!

"I read other poolcenter.com customer reviews, which was why I felt comfortable ordering from them. Placed an order for above ground frame pool on 3/25, paying via paypal. Funds (over $800) were debited from our account the following day. Waited 2 weeks, and then decided to email for a status update, since we we had not heard anything further regarding the order other than the initial order confirmation email. Received a response the next day that our item was on back order and would not be received by them from the manufacturer until week of 5/1. Severely disappointed that we received no information from them either when placing the order, or shortly thereafter, that the item was not in stock. In fact, had I not emailed I am not sure how forthcoming they would have been regarding the delay. Having already waited 2 weeks, we decided against canceling our order and purchasing elsewhere as we would probably not receive it until May anyway. I would have appreciated better/more timely communication from them – providing me the option of either canceling my order and receiving a prompt refund, or securing my agreement to wait a month and a half to finally receive the item."

"I just wanted to say how pleased I was with poolcenter.com. There isn't much to say (it's a website that sells pool equipment!), but I'm just pleased with the fact that when I ordered, my item arrived quickly and in perfect condition, and I haven't had encountered any problems at all. A good site, with a wide selection of supplies and good customer service. Very pleased overall."
