"SOS scans my computer and automatically identity photos, music, documents & video files. I don't have to search manually for each type of files to back it up. Moreover, SOS incremental backup option works in such a way that backup schedules start with full backup, then backup only the changes in selected files. My PC performance is fast and optimized because of this option.

"Overall an amazing product. Earlier I was using USB drives to accomplish data backup, in particular for my business. But for me it slowed the computer considerably with USB drives and then I had a USB drive fail ... got lucky that the original data was still on the hard disk. SOS Online Backup has redundant servers, so my critical data would be round-the-clock protected in 2 different geographically located data centers. So data would be always safe and accessible. I find SOS to be very reasonably priced, but make sure you purchase the long term deals, as they are much less expensive."

"My Laptop was crashed in a road accident. I lost my laptop, but my digital data is secure. I recovered all my vital files through SOS Online backup. All the recovered files are up to date because SOS provides continuous data protection . Every PC user must have reliable backup solution like SOS to avert data loss."

"Very happy with the easy setup.... the program walked me right through the steps which took just a few minutes. I have heard that the first backup takes a little longer, but it took less than a day and I was backed up... I set my backup to automatically run every day which works perfect for me... I will recommend it to my co-workers and friends"

"I have moved to SOS online backup from crash plan. Although I liked Crash Plan very much SOS has 24 hour online support over the web chat during the week and a better integrated user interface. One of the weaknesses is that the continuous backup can only be set at the file and not at the folder level, but maybe thy will develop this in a future release. Another imitation is that if you have a lot of files, such as music and photos, 100gb may not be enough to suit your needs. They are flexible in that they allow 5 computers to share one account,abiet with a single password.SOS can perform a Facebook profile backup and restore as well as allow folder sharing to friends of backed up files. Complimentary local backup as well as cloud backup is included. Overall excellent with some minor hiccups."

"SOS online backup interface is easy to use from anywhere.

Pro: All of my files appear just like on my home computer.

Con: Can't backup my other computer, an iMac."

"I've been using SOS Online Backup for six months now and have found it to be easy to use and reliable. I run daily backups with e-mail confirmations, so I can monitor its effectiveness each day. I have it set up on both my laptop and my wife's desktop machine. I am very impressed with SOS's customer service as well. I recently had an issue that was quickly and easily resolved using an online chat session with one of their tech support reps. I have found SOS Onine Backup to be an excellent solution to my backup needs and highly recommend it."

"I've used SOS Online Backup for an extended period. When it works, it works quite well. When there's a problem, however, it will take a while to get it corrected. The other day, I discovered that SOS was no longer backing up my data. I contacted SOS via chat, but made no progress with the first support representative. The next day, I used chat again and worked with a rep who was more knowledgeable and more interested in providing a solution. The good news is that the problem was resolved. The bad news is that it took over an hour to do so. Plus, the rep did not answer questions I asked to understand the problem and help prevent it going forward. The service is Very Good. The support staff needs improvement."
