As mentioned in the review, we offered a full and complete refund, but the customer declined as they could not get a better price anywhere else.
We called the customer the very next day to inform them of the situation, and to offered them some options. There was no answer, so we left a message. Subsequent phone calls were dealt within hours.
It is unfortunate, that despite our best efforts, and despite offering $20 off in a sign of goodwill, that the customer was so dissatisfied by our service.
As posted, there was an error with the quote on the shipping, and what should have been quoted as $95, was only $35. When the shipping department received the order, they judge the discrepancy too large to simply ship out the part and did not ship out the part when they should have.
We are happy to say we have corrected the issues with the shipping module to help prevent any such occurrence from happening again. We aim to meet our customers expectations should any similar situation arise, but do reserve the right to cancel any order due to inaccuracies in pricing, shipping, or stock.”

We are glad that the customer brought this fee to our attention, as we were not aware this was going on. We are looking into this matter for the future, but no extra fees should expected from any order placed with TheWrenchMonkey.”

The Wrench Monkey Team”
""Listen to these guys! First of all Allison is a sweetheart who aims to please. She will work to understand your problem and fit your needs. She does this all with a smile( you can tell even over the phone and through email). Every time I called I got the same person and the same quality treatment. Now, I dont know squat about cars so I was relying on Allison and Mark to guide me as to what I needed. When the part arrived (a bearing) my mechanic told me(after taking my car apart) that the part was incorrect and needed another part( the entire assembly) to be put in correctly. He said pressing in the bearing to the existing assembly would be dangerous and if possible would cost 300-600 dollars. So I called Mark at wrenchmonkey and even had him speak with the mechanic. They disagreed and naturally I was really upset that wrenchmonkey (I thought) sent the wrong part after a lot of effort spent making sure it was the right part. Mark was stern and assured me he knew the part was correct. I didnt care. After all the time I spent and aggravation I was insistent on getting my money back. He said he would do that for me but I was making an incorrect choice. He made a deal with me: he would check with my car manufacturer just make sure and if they said he was wrong that he would still take the part back. He told me to check with another mechanic. I thought (even though I was mad) that it was fair. The next day Mark called me back to tell me that even though the manufacturer confirmed he was correct that he would still take the part back (hesitantly)just because it was important to keep me happy. Well, let me tell you, I was SOOOO glad he took a firm stand with me. When I checked with the new mechanic he said he could do the job for $100 bucks (just like Mark had told me it SHOULD cost). Overall, I was wrong. Mark is not the sweetheart Allison is Ill tell you that. But his uncompromising (and deserved) confidence in the standards and procedures that Wrenchmonkey takes to make sure you get the right product ended up saving me time, money and aggravation. I was never so happy to have been wrong (pushing for a return and believing a crappy mechanic). I even called Mark the day after my car was finished to humble myself and thank him. We had some laughs and parted as friends. I will NEVER go anywhere else and neither should you! Trust me and trust Wrenchmonkey. At one point I threatened Mark that if he didn't comply with my (erroneous)request that I would put bad reviews anywhere I could find. Well, a month later, I made it a point to keep my promise to tell the world just the opposite. You will not beat Wrenchmonkeys price, professionalism and expertise. No one does more research than me. So I saved you the time. Purchase from Wrenchmonkey and listen to them with confidence. -Justin NY ""
