"Terrible customer service, and it operates like a scam site.

I had purchased a Crucial M4 256 GB SSD @ $229.99, thinking that it was a good deal. A week went by without my receiving the order, so I checked on the order status. The status had stated it was "shipped." UPS claimed they had never received it. I didn't know who to believe.

Two weeks pass. I find out that the product had been returned. I'm not even processed a refund. I several emails asking why, and I don't get a response until I send an email asking why it had taken longer than 24 hours to respond. And that email FINALLY tells me that they've refunded my money.

I'm never buying anything here again. Amazon.com will often price match, and Newegg (although it has tax in California) will often be just as cheap as well before taxes are added. Amazon.com and Newegg simply have never messed up, and I have purchased several thousand dollars' worth of computer equipment from both of them combined.

This was my first time trying TigerDirect.com, trying to save $10 from Amazon.com, and it will be my last.

I urge everyone to be cautious when ordering from TigerDirect.com. The other reviews here (if they aren't fake) may be good, but you should always judge a vendor by its negative reviews, which should be as close to 0 as possible. I feel that Amazon and Newegg have far fewer shipping errors than TigerDirect.

I gave 1 star for cost, because even though I got a deal, the price increased to $239.99 for no reason when my product could not be shipped. Not to mention that low customer service is generally another cost. It should not have to be painful to talk to a representative. "

"Ordered a barebones kit for a school project, paid extra money for next day shipping. I received everything but the case. Been 5 days now still haven't received the item, called them and wasted my time to just get free shipping. Now I have gotten a failure grade because I relied on tiger direct to get me this item. Would never recommend them again. Hopefully I get my case by Monday."

"I used to buy from Tiger on my last job any time I needed office equipment becasue they were always so fast in shipping and good service.. My first order now after 3 years and probably my last, due to slow shipping and very poor customer service on followup.
1. ordered printer 5/14 evening.
2. Tiger acknowledged shipment on 5/15.. all appeared good
3. UPS not reporting any pickup as of 5/15
4. I chatted online with agent who told me to followup with UPS...or wait a day for tracking number , etc so i waited
5. Chatted with agent who told me again to call UPS as UPS still doesnt have package.. I asked agent to cancel order and refund.. He told me that couldnt be done( He didnt want to) I asked for supervisor - he ignored that request
6.5/17 Checking again today,, UPS still knows nothing.. tried the chat again... and gave up quickly -- you really shouold eliminate that chat thing - those people are useless.. so
7. I called and got Stephanie on the phone who agreed to investigate.. She entered a ticket for shipping dept to investigate . I told her if this isnrt resolved in another day, I want ro cancel and refund. She said she would note that on the ticket, but didnt say it would be done. She was polite and helpful. but I shouldnt have to be waiting another day.. I wanted this printer by tomorrow and now Tiger is hasseling me about cancellation.
I doubt I will order fro TigerDirect in the future


So it continues. Apparently Tiger took it upon themselves to re-enter the order even though I asked it to be canceled they are shipping UPS 2 day at their cost but my original payment was not refunded and I am invoiced for the replacement.. At a minimum they could have emailed me with their decision and actions.... nope nothing just a new shipping notice with a new PO..i had to call to find out what was happening. I understand this is their business policy, I cant see dealing with a vendor that puts its own needs above the customer.. USED TO BE A GOOD COMPANY... WAS THERE A MANAGEMENT CHANGE SOMEWHERE IN SALES ?"
