"i suggest to everybody from buying a tire from tire rack make sure you have a thick wallet alot of patience and extra time on your hand to do the run around once you receive your order. i recently bought a set of tires and rim with them for my 2010 toyota 4runner thinking of saving money but i was wrong it actually cost me more money and my time missing work to do the run around. the first day of installing the tires on my vehicle the problem started the tires were not balance properly. tire rack suggested me to rebalance them and found out one of the rim was bent. called tire rack about the problem and they again asked me to do the bare rim run out to find out if the rim was really bent so went to another shop just to make sure it was bent so it turn out it was. as soon as i comfirm it to the them they started to blame me for i bent it by hitting a bump i explain it to them that how could i bent a rim from driving 5 minutes to the shop that install my tires to my house they refuse to warranty it for i used the tires already if i didn't install it to my truck how would i know if the item are good condition in the first place. buy your tires from the shop around your area for they stand behind of their product 110% pay extra for that rim and tires save your time and have a piece of mind that you are getting quality products for your money. this is a lesson learn for me that this place called tire rack is scam not worth of your time and money to all the headaches i got from them is not worth it. i really regret buying from them. $2500 down the drain i'll never recommand buying from this place for they dont stand behind of their products."

"Tire Rack sucks, by far the worse shopping experience I have ever had. Not a single thing went right and their employees are mean and treat people like crap. They blamed me for their mistakes and treated me like I was stupid. Not once did they apologize, and it a lot of arguing to get them to do what they promised. Based on the # of employees that lied to me it seems like they train their employees to lie"

"One experience like mine will make the initial perception that you will save a hundred bucks seem shortsighted. BUY LOCAL and save yourself the trouble that dealing with expensive shipping on returns and horrible customer service practices will get you!

I bought light Truck tires from them and they instead shipped me a "P" Passenger car tire and refused to refund me the original shipping price. Additionally it took me several phone calls to them and they never follows up with me via phone./email or in any other way that they commited. My issue could have been minor and I could have been a happy customer but their refusal to "do the right thing" and to follow up with me as they committed to do ensures that I will NEVER do business with them again.

I FINALLY have the right tires, but the "privilege" of having tirerack.com ship me the wrong tires still ended up costing me over $150~!!!! Whos saving money now?"

"Worst Buying experience..
Placed tire order and received order confirmation and delivery date.
Date of delivery, no tires.
Called and was informed they did not have contact info.
They had phone number and email.
How could they have sent email confirmation?????"

"Think twice before you buy from them, YOU WILL BE ON YOUR OWN IF *ANYTHING* GOES WRONG! They don't stand behind their products!

When you buy tires from tire rack and ship to local tire shop, the local tire shop don't like you as you didn't buy tire from them. And, if any thing goes wrong, local tire shop has no incentive to help you diagnose problem at all.

My car run perfect before i got a new set of Continental ExtremeContact from TireRack after which it starts to have shimmering at highway speed. Tire rack sent me to a affiliated shop which blatantly blame on my BMW as he claimed it is out of alignment just by looking with NAKED EYES! With his naked eyes, he also claimed the tires are out of balance. And tire rack just fully took his word as truth and refused to refund. THIS IS CLEARLY A RIP OFF! The alignment was checked twice when the car was re-balance and re-re-balance by different shop and dealer, ALL AT MY OWN COST. They don't speak the truth for customers and they treat you like scums!

The service representative even admitted my tires have been a "hit and miss" product for them, but still offering no refund/return. The same tires had issues posted all over the internet.

Tires are not cheap, don't take your chances with TireRack. Help local economy and take your car to a good local shop who really cares about the customer and stand behind their products!

Save yourself a ton of headaches and risk, DON'T TAKE CHANCES WITH TIRE RACK!"

ResellerRatings.com TOP REVIEWER!

"I've ordered from Tire Rack twice with no issues. Yet I visit the website much more than I buy to gather info on my next tire purchase. A tire survey like theirs is not offered on any other site I've found. Reading reviews is nice but being able to see how hundreds of people rated a tire in a specific category on a 1-10 scale is invaluable. I will continue to shop with them to keep this resource around.

Edit: My most recent purchase was for a set of Hella lights. TireRack had the lowest price even before the $25 rebate they offered. They were supposed to mail me the rebate form after I placed my order, but it never arrived. With the busy holiday season I completely forgot about the rebate until after the deadline to mail had passed. I contacted customer service to complain and they sent me a $25 gift card instead."
