Kevin went above and beyond in researching the 6\u0022 glass fireplace hood for my 35 1\/2 \u0022 opening, with a course of soldier bricks, 1\u0022 proud (sticking out) from the face. He understood the problem perfectly.<br><br>He called the manufacturers, Elite, and let me know that the tempered glass piece could be cut to fit! Wonderful! I hope the store puts this customization feature on the info. The size showed 36\u0022, and I almost gave up.<br><br>Also, I ordered Mauve stove paint. Kevin checked the color, and asked if I understood it was purple looking. I told him I had gotten a sample before, and it was really a brownish pink, which matched the Padre (or Charley Brown) bricks that everyone has in our town in Thousand Oaks, CA. I appreciated his concern. The next week I was at a local fireplace store, and the only can of paint they had (besides black) was also Mauve. Their price was $5 more the same product.<br><br>Great prices, great service, free delivery. "I ordered a piece of 36" insulated galvanized stovepipe to extend the top of my chimney. The price was the lowest of all of the places I had checked, online or in-store, and the shipping was free. It came within the estimated time, fit the existing pipe perfectly (even though the original pipe was 12 years old), and the wood stove is now drawing beautifully."
