I had been a N(ewegg.com) customer for 10-12 years prior to this lousy treatment by them. Very early Thursday morning I used 11 Rebate Visa/Debit cards to buy 11 gift cards. The nex day I expected to have 11 N gift card emails, giving Gift Card ID & Security Code for each one. Instead, I got 11 Order Cancellation emails, one for each order. So I called to figure out what the problem was,, fully expecting top be able to fix the problem since I hadn't done anything illegal or wrong. But, the people there have NO answers, NO solution, NO idea what the problem is. All they have is their "canned" useless answers. After waiting a day and a half for something to come from N, I call again. No help there, again. And most aggravating is that N has offered NO answer, NO problem, NO help in a day & a half. Now it's Friday. And I have gift card money on file there, but can I use my money? NO! Can I access my money? NO Can I put my money back into my pocket, go somewhere else and spend it? NO! Nothing can be done until they reinstate my account, which they have failed miserably to info me about. Now - is this a company I want to do future business with? I think NOT, and I wouldn't recommend that others trust them with their hard-earned money. After 10-12 years, I'm insulted, mad, and disgusted with Newegg's woefully inadequate handling of this matter - and I still don't know WHAT IS the matter. Not again!
