No customer service
"Went to join and spend hundreds to stock up for hurricane season but the customer service dept. Only had one employee yet about 10 or 12 people in line with extremely slow progress moving the line. I wish I could afford to have people waiting in line to give me money and be able to decide I don't really need their money enough to justify having a second employee. Maybe train the one employee to know when to call for assistance or have a manager who pays attention because if let me join promptly it means you have a new customer promptly who will continue to support you company for possibly years to come. You had me and you lost me. Poor management is ultimately to blame."
Every time I go there I have problems
"My husband and I joined BJ’s after Sams Club closed in my area. From day one we have had problems. I returned bottles and then found out I had to go to Customer Service for my $2.30. I waited a half hour. I was so annoyed that I kept standing there to complain once it was my turn. All three Reps listened and said basically “oh well”, one saying “I just started and it’s not my fault”. They really don’t want members returning bottles...I won’t now. That was after the machine was full and I had to find someone for help. I feel foolish for wasting my time. Today for the third time there were no carts. I told the kid standing near the door about it and he said “ it’s not my job”. I asked him if he could call someone and tell them...he got an aggressive attitude and repeated “it’s not my job”...yelling at me as I walked outside to find a cart saying “ I can’t do anything” ..YES YOU CAN!!!! Has no one ever told him to call a manager or ANYONE. THAT BOY NEEDS A LITTLE TRAINING. VERY SNARKEY. This really irritated me. The store is a mess and I can never find someone for help. I have had it with this place, and we haven’t been members for very long. I am going to request a refund and see how that goes. I MISS SAMS CLUB..I never had any issues with them."
Really deserved no stars
"Re: BJs.com order. 2 sizes of binders ordered. The 1/2" arrived in okay condition. The three 1" Binder rings were smashed due to absent packing material and very lightweight shipping box. (Or they could have been packed that way?) The cost of the three binders was $7.47. They would not send out replacements, unless I repacked and used a prepaid return label or brought them back to the store (25 miles away). I'd already spent 30 minutes on first call from which I was disconnected. 2nd call was almost 25 minutes to customer service, then supervisor. Frustration peaked when they wanted me to spend even more time repacking and taking the damaged goods to a UPS store to fix their error...for $7.47? Of all the other vendors I deal with this was the first (Non) customer (abysmal) service exchange that raised my blood pressure enough to write a bad review. Customer service was no help. Don't waste your time calling, or ordering online. At least when you go to the store WYSIWYG. Moral of the story: I will never place another web order, as there are plenty of other suppliers out there with better products and service."
"There was no one to help me to put the water in the cart and I finally manage to put it my self but it aggravate the Artheritis on my fingers. The self service check out lady was unproffesional. I chose to wait by the cashier line because my fingers were hurting. she grab my cart and took me there insisting she will scan it for me.She scan only the water and stand there watching me struggle with the rest of my groceries. At the end she said "Have a good Day " with attitude. She needs to be trained by the gentleman who was works at Bj's taking the carts back to the store. He was kind and put the water in my car and he wants me to come back to Bj's"
No Customer Service on Floor - Cashiers
"I visited the BJs at 106 Long Drive, Woodstock, GA on 3/21/18. It seems that every time I visit this store there is not an associate any where to be found on the floor. You normally have to wait to checkout and the cashiers are not much help either. For example: I asked the associate about the "canned air" she called someone but after self checking out two orders I still had no air and the associate could care less. I asked her where the air was and she didn't know. I would recommend you have at least one associate that is familiar with the location of merchandise circulate thru the store to assist customers. The way warehouse clubs move things around - at times customer assistance is needed. Also, your website for bjs.com/feedback stinks. If I am going to register for something I don't think it necessary to set up an account with bjs or any other site. There should be a site you can go directly to and register. I have become disgusted and left the club without purchasing everything I was shopping for because of the sorry service. Sometimes everyone wants to just look around and not be bothered but you really need an roving associate to assist customers. Also, seems everyone is going to self checkouts. One person cannot manage 6-8 checkouts and answer questions or assist customers. You need to reevaluate your checkouts ."
Terrible Customer Service
" Today I experienced the worst customer service from one of your employees I have ever encountered. As I was checking out I received no hello at first and when I told the lady specifically "have you ever thought about working on your customer service" I was treated with such disrespect. This lady named Paula then proceeded to start humming and singing words like "I don't care" and as I took my receipt she sang " whatever". This lady was appalling. I then waited to speak to a manager as Paula continued to look back at me to see what I was doing. After waiting for ten minutes with my 9 month old I had to leave. As a family of 6 we spend a lot of money and have for many years at BJ's...as a result this will stop as of today. I will now become a member of Costco for this treatment. Paula could care less about helping or as a matter of fact she looked to really hate her job!! I will be contacting corporate as well. I surely hope that something is done about this and that all employees are going through more training or are managed closer. "
They don’t honor their own pricing!
"BJ’s is the only store in the universe that doesn’t honor their own pricing!Yesterday I attempted to purchase this tv for what I assumed would be the same price as online.BJ's Wholesale ClubLG 43UJ6300 43" 4K UHD HDR Smart LED TV Item: 100907 | Model: 43UJ6300Online Price: $429.99 $279.99Shipping Included Instant Savings: $150.00The tv was 329.00 in store, I asked for them to charge me their advertised price and they refused. I then proceeded to close my 15 year old membership and they could care less. I know they could care less but they should take a lesson from Costco!! I have had similar issues like this before at this store Reidville Drive Waterbury CT, but not anymore. I will never step foot there again. Never have I been so embarrassed before in my life. In all honesty can anyone think of a store that has different online versus club pricing?"
"Went in to get a few items of which one was Stew Beef. When removing pre-cut cubes the layer on the bottom was thin strips of fatty pieces with little beef. It was obvious that the Butchers had placed them on the bottom to raise the weight. Total Ripoff ........ they lost my business to Market Basket in Bourne, Ma.................."
Food Court Removed from BJ's
"I joined BJ's because it was the wholesale club near my house. Besides great deals on items I could purchase in bulk, there was a food court that offered hot Pizza, Polish Dogs and other quick meal options.I am not sure if this is happening at every location but it was a great amenity that has been removed from BJ's."
"I cant understand why any product should be cheaper any where else but in pa east Stroudsburg the bjs gas is more expensive that the surrounding gas stations why if i pay for a membership to shop here and another thing why do i have to search for coupons in store or get these booklets sent to me by mail this must cost money in printing and mailing cost why cant bjs just give is the cheapest price without these gimmicks and troubles that shoppers have to go through make me happy so i can continue to be a bjs customer and not think to go to costo oscar "
White Glove DElivery is a Joke. More like the Blue Glove your doctor uses when he sticke his finger up your S#@
"Nothing but lies start to finish. My delivery was scheduled for 12/21 0900-1300 hours. At 1300 hours driver calls and says he will be here within the hour. At 1500 hours he calls again and says at least another 35 minutes. A entire day of my already shortened life waiting for delivery. The joke is, I ordered on 12/5, 16 days later still no TV and I live less than 1-mile from the BJ warehouse.Do not do business with them. "
Don't buy at BJ's online
"i bouoght a TV on BJ'S online, they said i'll get it in 3 to 5 day and 10 days later the tv arrived damaged, i return it with the same delivery, now I'm trying to get my money back and they are giving me a run around it been 25 days no refund jet"
Almost not believable!
"Can you imagine calling a retail store which I did,in Freeport & for three hours no one picked up the phone. I was checking on a birthday cake to make sure it was properly done. And next day upon picking up the cake of course it was wrong! Hello Costco!!"
"I purchased a lifetime shed which I had to order online because the store had none in stock. It was a 1200.00 shed. I waited 12 business days and has 3 different delivery dates given to me. When it finally arrived we started to put it up and had 3 damaged areas. A shed is non returnable so we had to make it work. I complained that I wanted a credit. I was first offered a 50 dollar gift card. I refusedI was offered new parts. I refused as the shed is up and we fixed the damaged the best we could. Took all day to put it up. Then I was offered a 50 dollar credit. On a 1200.00 shed, it would have cost them more to send me the parts. I'm not a greedy person, but $100 credit would have been an acceptable solution. "
even as a truck driver I deliver to Sam's Costco and BJ's..
"I deliver a lot of water to the whole sale club stores. I have never been treated so rudely at Sam or Costco than with a BJ's.. with the receiving department. Never will I shop their.Everyone , please boycott BJ's"
