given wrong information by customer service
"I bought a pair of ORTHOFEET Women's Two-Way Strap (Fisherman) Sandal in size 8B and I asked if it ran True-To-Size and Mario told me YES. WHEN I got the shoes I wore them around the house but they didn't hurt so I wore them outside once and my toes on both feet were rubbing against the front of the shoe so they WERE NOT TRUE-TO-SIZE and I was given the WRONG INFORMATION as I was told that the Manufacturer said they ran true-to-size! Also they were painful to walk in especially for my left foot and caused a PAINFUL BLISTER on my left foot Bunion! I had to buy a gel Bunion Protector so I could walk in them and I have to get BOTH SHOES STRETCHED! I expected an expensive walking shoe like this to be comfortable but it is NOT a comfortable walking shoe and I will NOT waste my money again on this brand! I'll buy Drew and Propet BEFORE I buy this brand again! SHOES.COM SHOULD GET THEIR FACTS STRAIGHT WITH THE MANUFACTURER AND TELL THE CUSTOMER THE RIGHT INFORMATION BEFORE THEY sell the WRONG SIZE and cause a LOT OF INCONVENIENCE for their customers! Now I have to live with these shoes and PAY to make them comfortable! I HOPE! A VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER!!!"
Wrongfully Charges my Credit Card... TWICE!
"I was in the middle of exchanging of one pair of boots for another on Shoes.com website. I entered my VISA card number and hit "Continue". A sign popped up telling me to call Customer Service and gives the number (1-888-200-8414). I call, but before I can talk to anyone an "Order Confirmation" email arrives from Shoes.com. I get a customer rep who is pleasant but refuses to give her name. I explain the situation and I ask her to reverse the order. She says she can't do that because there is no order. I tell her that I can give her the order number that just arrived, and, oh yes, an email alert from VISA showing the transaction. She's not interested. The dialog between us is not acrimonious, but she refuses to do anything because as far as she's concerned no order has been placed. After we hang up, Shoes.com CHARGES ME AGAIN for the nonexistent order, even sending another "Order Confirmation" with the same order number as the first. I call VISA, they confirm both the charges have been made to my card, so we put a temporary block on my VISA card. This will take some sorting out!"
6.95 for return that they haven't even left their warehouse
"I'll make sure I'll never buy with these people"
Three strikes and you are out
"Bought shoes. Horribly missized. An inch longer than my foot. Tried to return for a refund. Shoes.com offers free returns, right? No return label. You can see a UPS tracking number, but return label was not sent. Spoke to three different customer service reps. All said a label would be sent in an hour. Checked SPAM everytime. Asked them to send a PDF with a label. Never did. They said they snail mailed out a label, (which would conveniently arrive after their 60 day return window.) Since it was close to the 60 day return window, I asked for the RMA # and return address and mailed them back myself. I'm sure they will try to deny my return, even though their policy says, "must be sent back within 60 days" and I am "sending back" within 60 days. If they surprise me, I will update this review. On the plus side, their customer service was responsive, although ineffective. For the record, if they try to pull the same game on you, send your return back, using your original order #:Example:shoes.comAttn; Return: Order ????????34 Cabot RoadWoburn, MA 01801"
HORRIBLE customer service
"Bought a pair of shoes. Put them on. Wore them to work. 2.5 hours later the tread fell off. Ok. Not their fault. They didn't make the shoe. But when I called and wanted to exchange, the guy told me that he could only return (and charge me 6.95 to do so) and that if I wanted a new pair, I would have to place another order. Bought these shoes for work. Kinda need them. Bought them with the intention of actually USING them, so shipping them back without a replacement pair isnt really an option. Bleh."
Shoes.com is a scam
"Advertises 30% off plus $10 discount. Impossible to access. They're scammers."
"Was sent a pair of sneakers that I tried on only in my house to see if they fit right. They were way too big so I packaged them up and sent them back. Only to have them sent back to me saying they would not accept them because they were scuffed! I literally had them on my feet for maybe three minutes. Awful customer service. "
"I strongly recommend DO NOT use this company. Made a purchase then I had to return it because they sent the incorrect size ordered, they don't honor a straight exchange considering it's their error, instead you have to place a new order then wait to be reimbursed for the initial order which they messed up. The second order was shipped via UPS and the incorrect address was printed on the shipping label resulting into never being delivered. When I contacted SHOES.COM, they supposedly opened an investigation which can take 1-10 days, UPS contacted me acknowledging it was an error on the shipper's behalf. SHOES.COM still haven't resolved the issue after 2 weeks in which I made several attempts to find some closure on the matter. They simply delivers very poor incompetent customer service. BE VERY AWARE OF THIS COMPANY! "
Mailed me used shoes
"I purchased a pair of shoes from Shoes.com and they sent me a pair of used shoes. I called to start the return and they sent me an email that I would have to pay a restocking fee. I called back and they agreed to waive the fee as a "one time exception." They act like they are doing me a favor by waiving the fee???? Now I have to be inconvenienced by having to ship them back. Terrible experience. "
Stole My Money
"absolutely the worst online experience I ever had. Ordered to pair of shoes and one arrived. After another week of waiting for the order to arrive, I attempted to cancel the order by phone. Phone support is a joke. They offered nothing. So I notified PayPal that the shoes never arrived and next thing I knew, the order was cancelled. But, that just meant no shoes, they refused to return my money - $89.96. Slimeball company. "
Dont' waste your money or time
"Telephone customer service is off-shore - don't expect them to understand you or to care. I was sent the wrong shoes and had to take time off work to send them back. Even though this was their mistake I was told I had to re-order to get the shoes I ordered. I was never sent an email telling me that the shoes were shipped. I will never buy from them again. This is the second time I ordered from them - the first time I was sent shoes that were the wrong color. I didn't bother to complain, but they won't get your order right, so don't bother. I recommend finding a local shoe store if you can."
Buyer Beware. No Refund for Brand New Shoe Return
"Unfortunately, they refuse to resolve an issue I had with a recent purchase. Bought a $90 pair of boots, tried them on and sent them back on an even exchange for a larger size. All good so far. I get the new boots a week later, and lo and behold, my returned smaller size was returned to me 2 weeks later with a note that the soles were dirty. This is a scam that I found (too late) that is all too common with Shoes.com. No call as promised from the "manager" Steve (Johnson). I will no longer shop there based on customer service alone. I've been pleased with all my purchases but one. Been a customer since 2016. No more. I thought things were on the up and up once Bradley Wilson formerly of Travelocity took over. Buyer beware!"
A very good experience ... exceeding my expectations!
"Purchased three (3) pairs of shoes from Shoes.com. The shoes were received relatively quickly. I tried the shoes and found that (unfortunately) only one (1) pair fit well. I found myself having to return the remaining pairs to Shoes.com. Having read previous reviews I was concerned that I would have difficulty getting my refund (less restocking fees). The process was actually quite easy and painless. I went online and printed shipping labels for the return. After dropping the boxes off at UPS and proceeded to wait. The returns were received AND my refund was posted the same day!It is unfortunate that only 1 out of 3 shoes fit well ... but I cannot fault Shoes.com with that. Everything else they did was handled well and professionally. Will consider purchasing from them again."
Do not waste your time!
"Ordered a pair of shoes this weekend, item listed as in stock, three days later I finally get a message that they had canceled my order. They said the item was out of stock and I could expect a refund within ten business days. Automated emails, and when I did get human response, the rep “Ashika” provided a generic hollow response “we look forward to doing business with you Im the near future.” Not likely. "
BS About promotional code.
"They keeping sending me email about their shoes on sale. by applying the promotional code. When I apply the code, it said it is already applied but the price did not change and if click to verify, it said this product does not offer a promotion. This scumbag try to trick people to buy their shoes. "
