Received Shoes with Black Grease on the Sole
"One of the shoes I received had black grease on the sole. I wore them around the house before realizing, so I tracked it f-ing everywhere! That shoe was in a mystery plastic bag, too, so the packer KNEW it was like that. Then they said they need to INSPECT them before giving a refund. Just DO NOT buy from this place if you don't want to be **** off. There's a reason it's rated an average 1 star here."
Shady-o-grady. Stay away..."
"They do not honor the "bonus point" discounts on exchanges. This place is shady-o-grady.. For instance... Let's say you pay $50 for pair of shoes using $15 of their "bonus points," but want to exchange that same, brand new, unused shoe, for a different size. You "lose" that $15 and you will pay $65 for the same shoe simply exchanged for a different size. In addition, you have to pay the $65 immediately and wait to be credited back the $50 (up to 15 days given their glacial shipping process) minus the $15. Not a reputable business. Customer service reps are trained to read scripts. Amazing that companies put so much effort into organizing shady practices when that same level of detail could be applied to providing great service and building repeat customers. Sad."
Horrible company to work with!
"Do not use this company! Retuning is horrible! I purchased shoes in may. I sent them back and and I am still waiting for return. Finally I called the company and to be told that they are not refundable! So I asked where are the shoes? I was told they where sitting in warehouse. Finally and I am not kidding they are being sent back to me today. 4 months later!!"

"I ordered many pairs of shoes from Shoes.com because I live in a remote area where it's hard to shop for shoes. I had to try them on & only did so in my house for a brief time. I returned all the shoes except 1 pair that I did like & wanted to keep. First off, they don't charge return shipping but do have a restock fee & this should be made more clear when ordering. But the big issue is that several weeks after I sent the shoes back I got 1 of the pairs returned to me with no notice from them at all. I called before opening the box thinking it was a mistake. They informed me that they had sent back 1 of the pairs I'd returned & would not credit me for them because they were "scuffed & dirty". I only wore them inside my house briefly & I've had numerous people look at them & say they looked brand new & totally clean. I contacted them to challenge their claim & they refuse to budge. So now I'm stuck with a pair of $135 Birkenstocks that don't fit me right. This must be how Shoes.com makes their money. They are utter sleaze bags & should be out of business."
They should not be in business
"This was the worst experience that I have ever had. We ordered 2 pairs of shoes on July 3 and as of July 30 we have not received them. Said they were delivered, but not to me. Now they are blaming it on UPS. If you are smart you will not order from this company, EVER!"
Poor Customer Service
"Sent the wrong shoe. I am told that I have to wait for (customer service) to send an email to the supplier to see if they can ship the right shoe out. Stated this would take 24-48 hours to get a response. After, 48 hours past I contacted customer service again. Their supplier has not responded to their email. They keep offering to have me return the product, and they will refund my money. Instead of trying to get me the correct shoe I ordered. Can't explain to me why they can't call their supplier to get this issue addressed. As the standard time to get an email response has past. Poor business practice. Unresolved problems. A frustration to deal with."

Took three times the money for my order
"They took the money out of my account three times and then told me the order didn’t go through and it would take 3 to 5 days before they could give me my money back.... Do not order from them!!!"
Sent wrong shoes
"Ordered 3 pairs of the same shoes... 2 were correct and one was totally different... customer service told me they would send me a return label but then I would have to reordered the pair of shoes... so I can have more of my money **** with them. Not a happy customer "
"I ordered two pair shoes and returned them they were sent back two weeks later and no refund given bc the box was bent in shipping. The shoes were not damaged but bc box was bent they said they couldn’t resale. These people are crooks. Stay away. "
Stay far, far away! Hidden fees and Poor shipping.
"DO NOT SHOP AT SHOES DOT COM!!! I requested expedited shipping, that I paid for. 2-3 business days expedited shipping. It took them over 3 weeks to "process" the shoes internally and then ship them. It took almost 4 weeks to get them and every other vendor would get them to me in 2-3 business days. Since the shoes were so late, I was already on vacation and could not use them on the trip. Since I could not use them, I wanted to return them. They charge a restocking fee PER SHOE. Their time is precious, yours it no. Do not give this company ANY MONEY, they are rude, and have hidden fees and late delivery. "
Stay away, stay very far away
"The ONE TIME I didn't do a background review of a company and it's now become my daily burden to bear. I ordered a pair of Saucony running shoes with shoes.com because Saucony provides them with exclusive colors. As has been written by others, upon ordering you are told that you will get a follow up email in 1-5 business days to tell you when they will ship. But, if you try to cancel the order after a few days that only compounds the problem since then it takes 1-2 business days to tell you if they can even do that since the order still "in process" after a week. Saucony, to their embarrassment, will take no responsibility for their role in distributing exclusive product through this retailer. Never use this company, you've been warned."
wouldnt accept return
"I ordered a pair or sandals and when I got them I tried them on. I walked across my living room floor twice. They hurt my feet so I put them back in the box and returned them. Several weeks later they sent them back saying shoes worn soles scuffed unable to resell. Don't ever buy from them. They wont accept returns and refund your money. All I did was put them on and walk across the floor twice. It was impossible to have scuffed them up. I will never buy anything from them again."
Very Shady Company
"I bought 4 pairs of Shoes on May 31st 2018 / Company shipped to wrong address, told Me it was my fault. 1 agent, says Don’t worry, we will cancel order and refund money. Happened to be checking my Account on Saturday the 16th, noticed there was never any refund. I called Company on Monday, they told me they were not going to refund money, they told me I had to deal w UPS / UPS told Me, the company has to call us not you (the recipient) 3 Days and still No satisfaction. I call Shoes.com who is supposedly in Charlestown Mass and they all sound like they’re from another country. 10 phone calls and Not 1 person who doesn’t have an accent. I know the area very well, they are prodomently Irish not people from India etc. contacted BBB and basically I’m out $160.92 / Never again, I see why they have Low prices. They’re Theives and Scammers "
