Refused to transfer purchased Suppressor
"If you are purchasing items requiring Class III transfer, do not go through this company. I purchased a Ti-Rant 9 suppressor from them (which required an out of state transfer) and after I paid, they went completely dark. They didn't respond to e-mails or phone calls by myself or by the local Class III dealer to whom they were transferring the suppressor. It was not until I demanded a refund and threatened legal action (after 9 months) that they finally BEGAN the transfer process.In addition, when I finally received the suppressor, they installed the wrong thread so I had to pay an additional $80 out of pocket to fix it myself since they never again responded. "

"In April I called Alan Handle of top notch tactical, and asked if he had a particular rifle in stock. He told me no, but a new shipment would be in within the week. He also told me that he had two of the particular riflesComing, but one was spoken for, but with a 500.00 deposit he would sell me the second one. So I gave himmy card # and the next day the funds were withdrew from my account. Several weeks went by with no response to my emails, and never to this day, August 20, have I been able to talk to a person on the phone. Tired of waiting, I found one for sale and purchased it. I emailed more but , again no response. I asked repeatable times for a refund of my deposit. Finally I was informed that the deposit was non- refundable. So I asked the BBB of Washington State if they could help. They tried several times to contact Top NotchTactical, but absolutely no response. Now, I work very hard for my money, and I feel totally ripped off by this company! So be warned beforeDealing with them. It's by far the worst experience I've had with any company online......."
"This was my second order with Top Notch Tactical. My first order was a few months ago and I ordered for lower receivers, with the LPK installed. Kits were installed and items were shipped in a timely fashion.My second order was several days ago. I ordered a Fortis Rail which was about $30 cheaper than anything I had seen online. They shipped the item next day and I just got it today. It was exactly as promised. I have no idea what is going on with these negative reviews but I can assure you that I had a positive experience. Top notch was top notch in my book. "
"I ordered a Flash Supressor for $113.54 on January 31, 2013. I was promptly charged. After about a month I got an E-mail with a tracking number.After a week of checking the number, I could tell item never left the business. I called and got a male rep on the phone. He said they over sold and thought they had they items. He put me back on the "To be shipped" list.Its now July of 2013, I have emailed and left messages. Many, many times. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE.They present them selves as a company who does business with Law Enforcement.They are not."

"The absolute worse experience in 20 years of dealing in firearms and accessories. Placed order on 4/5/13. They charged my card ($1,827.04) on 4/08/13, but the items were not in stock. Listed the order as “Processing!” They had an excuse for this. Two weeks to answer my first email (they had an excuse for this - actually said gmail was to blame - gmail only updates every 2 weeks, so I guess they only get email every 2 weeks............B.S.). Told me they had located 5 of my original 20 KAC Q.D. Flash Hiders and would make a partial shipment. Those never came in and they never explained why. I emailed and asked about the partial shipment but they never replied (must be gmail again)! Did not reply to my next two emails. On two separate occasions they offered to refund my money. I accepted their 2nd offer. Today is 6/6/13 and I still do not have a refund. After reading reviews, on line, about Top Notch Tactical, this seems to be their normal operating procedure. This procedure for doing business started years ago (from on line reviews). Charge your card (immediately), use your money, and do not refund. One excuse after another. Buyer's be warned! "
"Ordered some small gun parts for my m1a on 10/01/12. Called them on 10/5/12. Nobody answered. Sent an email on 10/5/12, again no answer. Called again and left a message on 10/8/12 Monday and sent another email on Tuesday 10/9/12. No response. Called again on Thursday 10/11/12 and every time it goes to the message system. They do not answer the phone nor respond to emails. it will be a call to my credit card company on Monday. Two weeks without a response or a simple email is poor business. It's been a nightmare ordering from them and will never do so again. "
"I wanted to share my experience with Top Notch Tactical, it wastruly a pleasure dealing with Alan, not only did i receive what i ordered but it got here very fast!! I ordered a Hera Triarii carbine conversion kit, if your into that type of product then you know how hard they are to find, well not for me;) Thanks to the guys at TNT, now im the envy at all the gunshops and ranges for those who said that it was almost impossible to get!! "Before I go all in with a company I buy something small to see how they process and handle the item and if it is done professionally and timely. On 8/28/2012 I ordered a moral patch from Top Notch Tactical. I received an email from Alan Handl that on 6/29/2012 the patch had shipped. Great, fast processing. We had Labor Day in the shipping window so I allowed for that. On the 13th day, 9/11, I sent an email that I have not got the idea. I received another email telling me that they sent it on the 29th…..well I already have that info. I replied back if they had thought 13 days was too long from Washington (them) to Oregon (me). I asked if they had any good suggestions…..no reply at all. Its only 8 bucks but it’s the principle of customer service and I spend A LOT on firearms and accessories. On top of that I like to keep my money in the Pacific Northwest….well my money is still here but I didn’t get anything for it and by anything I mean help from the merchant to figure out this problem.EDIT: They sent a patch on 9/18, I got it 9/20 so in the end it was made right"
"Bought a few things from them, just picking up things that were in stock because hes local. Noticed the bad reviews about "In Stock" items, I dont know if you guys are blind or just making things up but nowhere on the site is anything ever indicated as "In Stock". If you are thinking of ordering just call/email and they can tell you if its in stock or not."

"Not good guys to deal with... Poor customer service. I placed an order for a upper... After a week I emailed to check on delivery and was told the upper I ordered was not in stock but I could spend $200 more and get a higher end model... I agreed and when It arrived it did not have the sites which the listing stated where included... I contacted them and they said they made a mistake on there web site and the sites did not come with the upper... I ordered from them specifically because they listed the $200 sites as included so I said I would like to return the upper, I was even willing to pay the shipping both ways. They said I would have to pay a restocking charge.... Even though it was there mistake.. with the added cost of the upgrade (which is of no value to me) the price of the upper was $1554... I filed a claim with my credit card company and ordered the upper from Cheaper than Dirt for $1219 delivered... It arrived in less time even though they are 1000 miles farther away and came with a prepaid return label if for any reason I wanted to return it for a full refund... Top Notch Tactical has no understanding of what customer service is, They will try and make you pay for there mistakes. They will not respond to emails and are simply not worth the effort when there are solid company's like Cheaper than Dirt to deal with... A month has gone by and I still have not got a return approval or a refund and have had to spend hours with the credit card company to try and resolve the issue"

"I placed an order with TNT and got a reply early the following day. Seems there was a problem with Customs at a warehouse which would mean a delay. I voiced my concerns and within hours I was assured they would try to fix the situation. Only eight hours later I was contacted and they could ship if I was still interested. YES. The response times and service from Top Notch Tactical could not have been more helpful. I will do more business with them. The shipping and handling was excellent. The people there are serious about customer relations and future sales."
