Worst customer service of my entire life
"Ordered parts for my car and my card was approved they sent me to ‘verification’ where I was put on hold forever then they gave me hassle, wanted me to send front/back of my ID and front/back of my credit card via email. When I told them I didn’t feel comfortable they sent me to their supervisor.. he was more than rude, incinuated I was a lair and told me if I didn’t like their rules then to not order from there again then hung up on me. I will never recommend them to anyone and I hope no one will give them business. "

"Horrible and rude staff. Ordered through Ebay buy it now price. They claimed they made a pricing error and I was SOL oh but have a 20 % of LAME. They further claimed that they talked to Ebay and were in the right which was a complete lie after I called and spoke with Ebay. Very disappointed in their staff and ethics. Shady shady people. "
Not a fit
" I purchased a pair of pick up truck bed rails for my late in model year 2007 GMC pick up. I was very careful in the selection of fitment. (Purchased thru eBay) Upon arrival I discovered the stake holes were badly misaligned. I asked to return them owing to their mix up. They permitted a return. Their policy was to return them at my expense, eBay intervened and I was sent a prepaid shipper. During this process, Summit sought to cancel the order, which happen, with this maneuver the customer could not provide any negative feed-back. That brings me to this forum "

MOTOR PUT TOGETHER WRONG
"BOUGHT SUMMIT MOTOR YEARS BACK AND DID NOT PUT VERY MANY MILES ON IT AND IT KEEP BURNING MORE OIL WITH EVERY USE .STARTED OUT 1 QUART IN 3500 MILES AND OVER THE YEARS 2 QUARTS IN 2500 MILES . I JUST TOOK THE MOTOR COMPLETELY APART FOUND THE RINGS WHERE IN UPSIDE DOWN AND THE OPENING IN THE RINGS WHERE ALL FACING DOWN . I PUT ABOUT 10,OOO MILES ON MOTOR AND NOW ITS TRASH . MAY HAVE TO BE BORED . THERE MOTORS ARE JUNK ."

Watch out for "drop shipping" items. Total disconnect between vendors and Summit.
"I did a Search for a part number,I paid for part, invoicing shows item will ship next day, 12 days later ,no part , no email and project stalled. A couple of phone calls revealed that part is untraceable, no true communication between vendor and Summit, it may have shipped,it may not have but you will have to wait 3-5 days for PayPal refund. Everyone should make the call to the smaller service oriented outlets and pay the small difference . Parts were sent by Hoerr Racing Products in a timely fashion with 3 emails and a few dollars cheaper to boot. Sorry Summit but that will never happen again."
Return policy it's a scam
"Purchase a rear axel shaft and got it was a couple of inches shorter than the one that I need I return the axel and now they don't want to give me my full return because I try to install of course I was going to install if they garamtie it was the Wright one "
"First off my head gasket was $40 cheaper than anywhere else. I put in my order at 1 p.m. Monday and relieved to my door by 6 p.m. Tuesday. Here's the kicker, i didn't pay for next day air or even second day air, just regular mail. Don't understand how they have so many bad reviews...they were awesome!"

"Beware - Summit Racing Discloses YOUR Sales Info to your State Department of Revenue so you'll end up having to pay sales tax! They claim its on your invoice but its not. I'll NEVER buy from them again. NEVER!"
They use UPS for shipping here in Ohio. They would be better off with Fedex or mail. It has been a week since our snow and they keep cancell
